Abstract

This research titled "The role of English language teachers in understanding the common cultural interactions of the source and destination languages ​​to learners" explains the role of teachers in explaining the values ​​of human rights and common moral virtues of the source and destination languages ​​to language learners. Introduction: The common cultural interactions of the source and destination languages ​​mainly include two areas of high values ​​of human rights and moral virtues. English language teachers should selectively extract these common values ​​and virtues and their foreign exchange in source and target language texts and teach them to the learners. Research method: The current research method was analytical-adaptive-descriptive and based on library sources and databases. Findings: It indicates that the success of English language teachers in understanding the common cultural interactions of the source and destination languages ​​to disabled learners is due to factors such as their familiarity with the issues raised in the literature of the source and destination and their expertise in the discussion of accurate translation of texts and not translations. It is literal so that through this way the learners can organize an all-round comparison of these values ​​and virtues with respect to the texts of the source and destination languages ​​in their minds.
