Abstract

Love, as a fundamental concept in Persian literature, is portrayed differently in the works of prominent poets such as Hafez and Khayyam. This study conducts a comparative analysis of the concept of love in Hafez's ghazals and Khayyam's quatrains, adopting a philosophical perspective to explore their differences and similarities. The findings reveal that while Hafez depicts love as a mystical and transcendent concept, Khayyam presents a more earthly and experiential view of love.
