بررسی شاخصههای آرمانشهری در سرودههای سهراب سپهری و مقایسۀ آن با آراء یوتوپیایی توماس مور

نوع بشر همواره تلاش کرده است دنیای خود را به سوی بهبود پیش ببرد. در این راستا سیمایی از جهانی آرمانی را ساخته و برای تحقق آن کوشیده است. در میان شخصیتهای غربی، توماس مور در زمرۀ نخستین کسانی قرار میگیرد که از یوتوپیا و ویژگیهای آن سخن گفتهاند. در فرهنگ ادبی فارسی هم، سهراب سپهری بارها از شهری حرف زده است که آرمانگرایانه و فاضله به نظر میرسد. هدف اصلی مقالۀ حاضر، مقایسۀ رویکردهای این دو شخصیت ادبی است که یکی متعلق به فرهنگ غربی بوده و دیگری در فرهنگ شرقی رشد پیدا کرده است. در پژوهش حاضر که با استناد به منابع کتابخانهای و روش توصیفی- تحلیلی تدوین شده است، شاخصههایی چون: «شادی و پویایی ساکنان»، «عاری بودن مردم از روحیۀ کشتار و طبیعتدوستی آنان»، «ارجحیت دیگری بر خود»، «برخورداری از فرهیختگی، ادب و انسانیت»، «فقدان شکاف و تبعیض طبقاتی»، «نبود آزمندی در میان مردم» و «علاقۀ وافر به علمآموزی» در آرمانشهر مورد نظر مور و سپهری، مشترک و همسان بوده است. همچنین، آمیزهای از مسائل معرفتی و اینجهانی در توصیف دو ادیب دیده میشود. نزدیکی دیدگاه این دو شخصیت نشان میدهد که باورهای آرمانشهری ریشه در نهاد بشریت دارد و صرفاً به محدودۀ خاص مکانی و زمانی منحصر نمیشود.
