Journal Article 2026 06 13 <p>Persian literature, beyond its artistic and literary dimensions, constitutes a valuable source for understanding the social culture and everyday life of Iranians in earlier historical periods. Parishan, a work by Qa'ani Shirazi, employs artistic prose and diverse anecdotes to portray the conditions of various occupations and social strata during the Qajar period. This study examines the occupations reflected in this work from historical and social perspectives in order to determine which of these occupations have persisted to the present day and which have undergone transformation or disappeared. The significance of this research lies in tracing the historical evolution of popular culture through an important literary work, a subject that has not previously been examined in an independent study. The aim of the article is to provide a historical analysis of these occupations and their representation in Iranian popular culture. The study employs a descriptive-analytical method based on library research. The findings demonstrate that Qa'ani's Parishan is not merely a repository of literary information but also a valuable source of social and historical knowledge, providing an important basis for a more comprehensive understanding of Iranian society in the nineteenth century.</p> <p>ادبیّات فارسی، علاوه بر جنبه‌های هنری و ادبی، منبعی ارزشمند برای شناخت فرهنگ اجتماعی و زندگی روزمره ایرانیان در دوره‌های گذشته است. کتاب پریشان اثر قاآنی شیرازی، با بهره‌گیری از نثر هنرمندانه و حکایات متنوع، تصویری از وضعیت پیشه‌ها و طبقات مختلف جامعه در عصر قاجار ارائه می‌دهد. در این پژوهش، پیشه‌هایی که در این اثر بازتاب یافته‌اند، از منظر تاریخی و تحولات اجتماعی بررسی شده‌اند تا روشن شود کدام‌یک از این مشاغل همچنان پابرجا مانده و کدام دچار دگرگونی یا زوال شده‌اند. ضرورت این تحقیق در شناخت سیر تحول فرهنگ عامه از خلال یک اثر ادبی مهم نهفته است که تاکنون بررسی مستقلی در این زمینه صورت نگرفته است. هدف مقاله، تحلیل تاریخی مشاغل و بازتاب آن‌ها در فرهنگ عامیانه ایرانی است. روش تحقیق به شیوه توصیفی–تحلیلی و مبتنی بر مطالعات کتابخانه‌ای بوده است. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد پریشان قاآنی نه تنها دربردارنده‌ اطلاعات ادبی، بلکه گنجینه‌ای از دانش اجتماعی و تاریخی است و می‌تواند بستری برای شناخت بهتر جامعه ایران در قرن سیزدهم هجری باشد.</p> https://jtpll.com/index.php/jtpll/article/download/572/349
