Journal Article 1405 02 19 <p>Adopting an interdisciplinary and comparative approach, the present study examines and compares the linguistic innovations of John Hollander (1929–2013), a prominent American poet, and Sohrab Sepehri (1928–1980), an Iranian modernist poet, from the perspective of ecolinguistics. The primary aim of the study is to demonstrate that both poets, through different yet convergent linguistic strategies, engage in the process of “decentering the human” in poetic language and attribute agency and subjecthood to nonhuman elements of nature. The research data were drawn from selected poems by both poets, including “Swan and Shadow” and “The Sundial Garden” by Hollander, and “The Footsteps of Water” and “Let Us Not Muddy the Water” by Sepehri. The study employs qualitative textual analysis based on Lawrence Buell’s theories of ecocriticism and Arran Stibbe’s ecolinguistic framework. The findings indicate that Hollander, through formal innovation, visual structures, and complex intertextuality, and Sepehri, through syntactic defamiliarization, synesthesia, and personification, each constructs a distinctive “linguistic ecology” in which the boundary between the human and nature is destabilized.</p> <p>پژوهش حاضر با رویکردی بین‌رشته‌ای و تطبیقی، نوآوری‌های زبانی جان هالندر (۱۹۲۹-۲۰۱۳)، شاعر برجسته آمریکایی، و سهراب سپهری (۱۳۰۷-۱۳۵۹)، شاعر نوگرای ایرانی، را از منظر بوم‌زبان‌شناسی (اکولینگویستیک) بررسی و مقایسه می‌کند. هدف اصلی این پژوهش نشان دادن آن است که هر دو شاعر، از طریق راهبردهای زبانی متفاوت اما هم‌سو، به فرایند «تمرکززدایی از انسان» در زبان شعر دست می‌زنند و به عناصر غیرانسانی طبیعت عاملیت و فاعلیت می‌بخشند. داده‌های پژوهش از اشعار منتخب هر دو شاعر، از جمله «قو و سایه» و «باغ ساعت آفتابی» از هالندر، و «صدای پای آب» و «آب را گل نکنیم» از سپهری، گردآوری شده است. روش پژوهش، تحلیل کیفی متن بر پایه نظریه‌های بوم‌نقد لارنس بیول و بوم‌زبان‌شناسی آران استیب است. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که هالندر از طریق نوآوری فرمی، ساختارهای دیداری و بینامتنیت پیچیده، و سپهری از طریق آشنایی‌زدایی نحوی، حس‌آمیزی و جاندارپنداری، هر دو «اکولوژی زبانی» خاص خود را می‌سازند که در آن مرز میان انسان و طبیعت فرو می‌ریزد.</p> https://jtpll.com/index.php/jtpll/article/download/489/291
