This study aims to elucidate the functions of myth and the techniques through which it is employed as both a structural and semantic element in Abu Shadi’s poetry. Using content analysis, the author examines the typology of the myths employed in his works, including Greek, Egyptian, and Eastern myths. The study demonstrates that Abu Shadi did not merely reproduce ancient narratives; rather, by integrating them with lived experience and contemporary concerns, he generated new meanings and deepened the semantic layers of his poetry. The findings indicate that myth in Abu Shadi’s poetry functions not only as a means of enhancing aesthetic expression and poetic imagination, but also as an overarching metaphor through which concepts such as identity, freedom, love, and death are articulated. It further operates as a reflection of the internal and external conflicts experienced by modern humanity. Ultimately, the present article emphasizes that mythopoesis in Abu Shadi’s poetry, as a link between ancient heritage and poetic modernism, contributed to the enrichment of Arabic literature and to the universality of the poet’s message.</p> <p>احمدزکی ابوشادی ،شاعر واز پیشگامان مکتب آپولو درشعر معاصر عرب می باشد .هدف از پژوهش ،تبیین کارکردها وشیوه های به کارگیری اسطوره به عنوان عنصری ساختاری ومعنایی در شعر ابوشادی است .نگارنده دراین مقاله ،با روش تحلیل محتوا،گونه شناسی اساطیر مورد استفاده (اعم از یونانی ،مصری وشرقی)را مورد بررسی قرار داده است و نشان می دهد که ابوشادی صرفا به بازگویی روایت کهن بسنده نکرده، بلکه باآمیزش آنها با تجربه زیسته و دغدغه های معاصر ،به خلق معنایی نوین وتعمیق لایه های معنایی شعر خود پرداخته است .یافته های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که اسطوره در شعر ابوشادی، نه تنها ابزاری برای ارتقاء زیباشناسی وتخیل شاعرانه است ،بلکه در قامت استعاره ای کلان ،محملی برای بیان مفاهیمی چون هویت،آزادی ،عشق و مرگ. همچنین بازتابی از کشمکش های درونی وبیرونی انسان مدرن عمل می کند. درنهایت ،مقاله حاضر براین مهم تأکید می ورزد که اسطوره پردازی در شعر ابوشادی ،به مثابه پیوندی میان میراث کهن ونوگرایی شعری ،به غنای ادبیات عربی وجهان شمولی پیام شاعر یاری رسانده است.</p> https://jtpll.com/index.php/jtpll/article/download/456/284
